The "Jellyfish Squish" technique by Ruth Collis, can turn into versatile ways to be creative, such as this "Squish Flower" here.

 

In the "Jellyfish Squish" online lesson, Ruth shows how to  transfer these flower squishes easily, to a bigger canvas.

 

Here, interesting three dimensional stems were hand formed with a rich violet color, instead of the usual green.

 

Clear thick gel was added on top of the stems to give an underwater jelly type look.

 

This is one of many backgrounds Ruth demonstrates how to achieve, by giving a real watery look of swirls.
