On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, artist Ruth Collis came with her installer to visually arrange & hang her Sculpture Paintings she donated to Foothills Psychological Group to get her art noticed, make more studio space, & upgrade the psychological center's decor. Management there was hoping to present an environment of less "clinical" nature, to be more inviting & comfortable.
Everyone seemed to love this "Desert Textures" one where a figure or 2 are hidden within the texture (see in clicking artwork below).
Dr. James Douglas Rodick, Clinical Psychologist, says, "The next morning of the new paintings, I walked into the place just lit up with unusual excitement where artistic creativity brought a newness to the place. People who normally come in serious, were now happy. I haven't seen everyone so bright & cheerful in a long time. Now no one wants to look at the 'boring' wall that didn't get paintings put on it yet!"

"I like 'Undersea Garden' because it looks so lifelike! As if I were actually looking at a coral infested rock under the ocean.

Foothills Psychological Services, Inc. is a private behavioral health practice in the Inland Empire of Southern California, with offices in Chino and Upland, California.
